Who we are

The Asherah Foundation is an internationally recognized 501(c)3 organization founded in 2016 that promotes and supports access to higher education for women around the world. We envision a world where women around the globe have the funding to access higher education to support their families, communities, and themselves regardless of the challenges they have faced in their lives. The Foundation provides scholarships and support to women seeking a second chance through higher education and raises awareness of the global need for accessible post-secondary education. We believe post-secondary education provides women with the tools and resources to create change within their communities and advance gender and social equality. We are a small but dynamic and global nonprofit organization.

Our Internship Program

The Asherah Foundation works with university students to further the organization’s mission of providing scholarships to women around the world. Our interns work together on different committees to complete projects with the goal of growing and developing the organization. Interns have opportunities to spearhead essential projects for the organization, network with colleagues and board members, build nonprofit experience, and gain relevant skills. Interns will either serve as senior management interns, nonprofit management interns, and international development interns.

This is an exciting opportunity for students who are looking to contribute to an important mission and learn about a growing nonprofit. As a global organization, interns will be able to meet other interns and colleagues from across the United States and around the world.  We welcome new interns every fall, spring, and summer!
